Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here!
Hello! I'm Alyse Goodacre, M.C., CCC, RCC, Clinical Counsellor based in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, and I’m so glad you are here. My passion lies in helping clients through an integrative, mind-body approach that recognizes clients’ innate ability for change, growth, and healing.
My approach is warm, empathetic and non-judgemental, balancing a collaborative and directive approach. I have a special interest and professional experience in working with clients experiencing anxiety, stress and overwhelm, burnout, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, attachment and relational trauma, as well as those feeling stuck in old patterns, thoughts and beliefs.
Our work together will draw from a trauma-informed, strengths-based practice weaving Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, attachment and polyvagal theory, among other evidence-based approaches.
Throughout my journey, I have explored both traditional clinical approaches and integrative healing modalities, gaining invaluable insights and knowledge of both. This combination of personal experience and professional expertise informs my practice and allows me to offer a comprehensive, whole-person clinical approach.
“I am dedicated to supporting your healing journey, helping you cultivate inner peace, calm, clarity and the ability to embrace the present moment fully. My priority is your wellbeing, and I am committed to fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship, tailoring our work together to address your unique and individual needs.”
